Mont Blanc Climbing Tour: What a Guided Climb Involves

Almost every guided ascent follows the Goûter route from Saint-Gervais. The Tramway du Mont-Blanc runs from Le Fayet to the Nid d’Aigle, 2,372 m (€40 return); day one climbs to the Goûter hut at 3,815 m, day two goes to the summit and back down. Longer programmes add a night at Tête Rousse, 3,167 m, or training days first.
